Nine Free Workshops:
Participants may use any online tools to create their own eBooks.
Both Fiction and Non-Fiction are welcome. Participants are welcome to use the following theme for their writing “STEAM: AI, Robots, Love & Peace”.
Stories can be written in either Chinese or English. Each participant can only submit one piece of work for the competition.
Submission of participants’ work:
To help students prepare for the competition, 9 free, introductory scaffolding workshops will be offered in April/May which do not require any prior knowledge:

Submission of participants’ work:
Participants must submit the Google drive link to their eBook by filling the submission form (TBC ) on or before Jun 28, Fri, at 23:59. The eBook link must be accessible without having to log in any personal account.
Participants must submit the link to a text-only Google Docs file document of their story for plagiarism checking.
To facilitate students’ sharing of their ebooks on the competition day, participants are required to video-record the sharing of their ebooks (4 minutes maximum), upload the recording onto YouTube, and submit the YouTube link by Jun 28, Fri, at 23:59.
Participants are required to create 10-30 questions regarding their story and provide a link to a Google Docs file containing the questions and answers to their story.
Competition Date and time: Jul 19, 2021 (Mon), 3:30-6:30 pm (HK Time) via zoom
Competition results will be announced and the award ceremony will be held on the same day.

Award-winning eBooks will be uploaded to a popular online reading platform accessible by nearly 10,000 students and an account will be given to winners
Award winners may be invited to become a real author by publishing their book with a publisher!
