Academy 22 Education for All Foundation (A22 Foundation) consists of professors, teachers and professionals who are keen on helping all kinds of learners (e.g., K-12, young olds) in Hong Kong and beyond to learn effectively and happily.

WHAT WE DO

​

A22 Foundation aims to help K-12 students from low-income families to develop the skills necessary for surviving and thriving in the 21st century. Moreover, A22 Foundation also supports other kinds of learners (e.g., young olds) in Hong Kong and beyond to learn effectively and happily.

OBJECTIVES

​

For K-12 students from low income families, we aim at helping them to:

• Develop 21st Century Skills including but not limited to:
  Reading and writing literacy | Self-directed learning | Media literacy | Critical thinking | Creativity | Collaboration | Communication.

• Learn effectively, efficiently and happily.

• Provide well-designed and high-quality educational resources and tools both physical and non-physical including but not limited to libraries, books and online reading platforms.

• Organise trainings for schools, teachers and teacher librarians on increasing students’ 21st Century Skills such as reading interest and ability.

• Conduct research project on K-12 students’ 21st century literacy and skills and provide advice for governments.

• Organise conferences to offer a platform for researchers and practitioners in various areas of education to move forward.

 

Besides K-12 learners, we also help other age groups to learn. For example,

• We offer programs/courses to young olds (age 55+) that will help them stay young cognitively, stay healthy physically and stay happy mentally.
